New approach to LRAW
Since becoming the head of the law school, Dean Rob Wilcox has implemented a string of new initiatives that are changing the way legal education is taught in South Carolina. The first of these was a formal Legal Research, Analysis, and Writing (LRAW) program introduced in fall 2011. The new program is an integrated two-semester, six-hour curriculum designed to ensure students have the skills needed to be successful in law school and in the practice of law.
A day at the White House
Pam Robinson, director of the Pro Bono Program, represented the law school at a special White House ceremony recognizing the 5,000 Point of Light (you may recall that the Pro Bono Program was #444). Read her account and see pictures from her trip to the nation’s capital.
