Joseph and Langford recognized as Stars of the Quarter

Haynsworth Sinkler Boyd associates Cameo Joseph (2016) and John Langford (2014) have been recognized by the South Carolina Bar Young Lawyers Division (YLD) as “Star of the Quarter.” The award recognizes their contributions and dedication to the YLD for the third quarter of the 2017 – 2018 year.

  • A Chance through Literacy, which provides schoolbooks and educational materials to schools in developing countries

  • The FriendShip, which provides for the care and transportation needs of the elderly living in their own homes
  • Pocket Productions, which supports local artists creating projects for Columbia and the greater community
  • Alala Cancer Society, which provides assistance for individuals who are in need of prosthetics as a result of cancer treatment
  • Midlands Mediation Center, which provides for mediation of claims throughout the Midlands
  • Widows of Opportunity, which provides support for widows of Veterans of all wars

All students enrolled in clinical courses are certified by the Supreme Court of South Carolina to practice law under their professor’s license, and are therefore bound by the SC Rules of Professional Conduct--the same as all licensed lawyers in the state.
