Halloween at the Law School

Students at the USC School of Law go all out to celebrate Halloween, and this year is no exception.

On Friday, Oct. 26, the Student Bar Association is hosting their annual Monster’s Ball, a chance for all law students, as well as other graduate students at USC, to take a break from the books, and have a howling good time!

The event is from 7 – 11 p.m. at the Columbia Metropolitan Convention Center and tickets are still available, by contacting the SBA.

Then on Tuesday, Oct. 30, from 6 – 8 p.m., Women in Law will transform the lobby of the Law School for its Halloween Carnival, a kid-friendly celebration that includes games, face painting, and of course lots of treats from the 13 participating student organizations, the Law Library and the School of Law’s Pro Bono program.

For well over a decade, Women in Law has hosted the Halloween Carnival as a way to make sure that children and families in need have a safe and enjoyable Halloween experience.  This year, the school will be visited by residents of St. Lawrence Place, a 30-home community where homeless families can find skills and shelter that foster independence and free them from the grip of poverty.

The Carnival is also open to the law school community and their families.
