Willliam Hubbard to receive award

Former ABA president and 1977 alumnus William Hubbard received the first Burton Award given in a new category, “Leadership in Law,” for his “willingness to take on the kinds of controversial issues within the legal profession that guarantee pushback from various groups of lawyers.” Presented in May 2016, the Burton Awards for Legal Achievement were created in 1999 and are held in association with the Library of Congress.
